Be calm, confident (not over confident) pay attention to what the instructor is asking you to do. make sure when you parallel park you are no more that 12 to 18 inches from curb. always adjust mirrors, seats, and anything else needing adjustment before starting car, turn off radio, turn off cell phone, always wear seat belt. stop behind the stop sign and slowly move forward so you can see if the view is obstructed, follow the following distance rules, maintain at least a 4 sec following distance, do not accelerate to fast or brake to hard, do not take turns to fast/sharp, etc. Just follow what the drivers book said and you should be good to go,
