You will need to read and memorise the WHOLE Highway Code, as they keep changing the question in the theory AND practical tests,

hi, i recommend all my pupils buy Driving Test Success - All Tests 07-08 edition. it's about £7 in my local asda but prob just as cheap on net.

Test changed Big Time last year so would Strongly suggest you buy a new copy, just for the latest question bank.

Keep 2004 version for practicing Haz Perception as the more different clips you practice on - the better - as soon as you start remembering clips - use a different cd!

Regarding the highway code - get a copy - it's only a few pounds and if you read a few pages a night you'll get through it easy! And there are a lot of things in there that you won't learn by practicing cd's!

Good luck - if you're well prepared you've nothing to worry about :)

The theory book covers the stuff you need from the highway code, so you'll be fine with just the CD. The driving theory test went through a huge change since I took it in 2002 but as long as your CD from 2004 covers the new format (which I am sure it does) then you'll be fine. It was out of 35 when I did it...

Good luck!

I would buy the new one, just in case anything new has been added to the test.

When I was preparing for my theory test, I also used The Highway Code and "Driving: The Essential Skills" - both DSA books - and try to read all sections, (aside from specifics relating to towing etc. which you will find in the latter book).

Also, try not to forget that a lot of the test can be accomplished using common sense! Best of luck!

the test changes every year with the legislation so its likely that the 2004 edition is different from this year. Having sat (and failed) the test before passing, I would suggest that you get a question and answer book because its easier to revise from and the highway code doesn't really cover absolutely everything.

Hey i done mine a little while ago and yeah it's probs changed from 2004. Just make sure that you've learnt all of the road signs, crossings, lines on the road. Most of it is common sense really, it's easy so you will be fine :)

Good Luck x

if you have general common sense then you will be fine with what you have now, the general priciples of the road havent changed that much. just keep note of road signs and speed in different areas and also why i think about it bare in mind the different zebera/ pelecan crossings etc etc and how to identify them from one another, it normally comes up and it does catch people out.............. good luck!

It always helps to have the latest books for the road due to changes in laws and regulations when driving.

the 2004 disc should be ok.....as for the highway code..read the lot..not just bits...

try to be on long drive and visit live sign board and driving techniques & rules with a professional driver.
