You do NOT need your passport. That's only necessary with an old-style paper licence. Just take both parts of your licence (photocard and paper counterpart). It's useful to take your appointment letter too, though not necessary, just in case there's any confusion.

Your driving licence is all you need with a photo.
You are confused as persons with older no photo ones have to take some photo ID like a passport where you do not

If you have a photo licence, take BOTH parts. If you have an old style paper licence you also need to take your passport. You do not have to take the appointment letter

Yes, you need your passport.
That is all I needed, both licenses & passport.
You need to sign a tablet checked against the signature on your photocard license.
I'd suggest bringing a bank statement for proof of adress, and one more form of photographic ID just to ensure nothing goes wrong.
Good luck :)
Remember - in hazard perception - you get about 9 clicks per clip, clips are only like 30 seconds long! people forget that :)
