I'm SCARED TO DEATH to drive. I'm almost 16 and my parents are begging me to try it. But i can't push myself to even back out of the driveway.. And being on the hw is EXTRA scary. All my friends drive like its nbd.
Am i the only that is scared to drive?!

Learning to drive can be scary but it's something you should really learn to do. Unless you live in a city with public transportation you will need to learn to drive so that you can work, go to the store, buy groceries, etc. You do not need to drive on the highway if you don't want to. If you are a cautious driver and pay attention to the road you will become comfortable behind the wheel. Learning to be a good driver takes practice. Most people do not learn to drive in one day. It takes several lessons or practice drives before you will become comfortable. You do not need to back out of the driveway. You can ask your parents to take you to a large parking lot. Business parking lots are usually pretty empty on the weekends. You can learn to start the car and drive around the parking lot. You can drive as slow as you want and not have to worry about other drivers. After you become comfortable driving in parking lots you can move on to some local roads that do not get a lot of traffic. It's important that you do not let your fear of driving keep you from becoming a responsible adult. Your parents will not be able to chauffeur you around for the rest of your life.

You are not the only one no. I passed my test nearly 2 years ago and hate driving and avoid it like the plague only start learning when YOU are ready being forced may make the fear you have worse but to be honest driving isn't that bad it is others on the road that seem to have no value of human life that probably put me off but that is a psychological barrier to get over for me and am still battling it so if you go for it then well done you if your not ready yet then wait

Im 17. Cuz of my clumsiness, i once crashed into a tree with toyota. Glad that it was toyata didnt break anythng but made of dust, my ankle broke cuz the car flipped over while i was trynna get out -.- since then, i practiced alotta times by games with joy sticks n examing ppl driving. Now i speed up to 130 n i dnt blink. Pretty rough huh?
